Research has shown that the quality of IT service has a direct impact on the success or failure of the business. As a result, CIOs and IT Managers in both government and commercial sectors are under increasing pressure to align with business objectives and achieve service excellence. At Computerworld’s upcoming IT Executive Summit on Improving IT/Business Alignment, a select group of senior IT executives and managers will explore and discuss the issues surrounding business alignment -- including the concept of business service management, which enables better service delivery and communication with the business. Through a morning-long program of industry expert and end-user presentations concluding with a rich, interactive panel discussion, participants will gain a fresh perspective from the presenters and each other.
